711 Institute won the bid for 40 sets of LNG gas supply system

Recently, China State Shipbuilding Corporation No. 711 Institute successfully won the bid for the 80m³ LNG gas supply system for the 15,500ton LNG dual-fuel river-sea direct bulk carrier of Wuhan Chuangyuan Shipping Co., Ltd. and the 50m³ LNG supply system for Hainan Chuangyuan Shipping Co., Ltd. Gas system, a total of 40 sets, will open a good situation for 2022. 

Xu Li, general manager of Wuhan Branch of China Classification Society, Yuan Houan, chairman of Chuangxin Jianghai and Chuangyuan Shipping, and He Zhijian, deputy director of the 711 Institute, attended the signing ceremony.

As one of the key systems of LNG-powered ships, the LNG gas supply system includes an LNG fuel tank, cold box, gasification heating system, filling system, double-wall pipe, safety, and control system, etc. It mainly provides suitable temperature and pressurized natural gas for the main engine and generator set. 

The signing of this project marks that the technology and strength of Qiyiyi Institute have been further recognized and trusted by the industry. 711 Institute will continue to provide customers with advanced and applicable one-stop solutions for LNG ship gas supply systems and actively contribute to the green and intelligent development of ships.
