CIMC SOE delivered its first LNG Bunkering vessel to Avenir

On October 8, Nantong CIMC Sinopacific Offshore & Engineering (CIMC SOE), a subsidiary of CIMC Enric, delivered the first 7,500m3 LNG carrying and bunkering vessel to Avenir in Zhoushan, Zhejiang province.
The vessel has a total length of 115.8 meters, a width of 19 meters, and a depth of 11.80 meters. It is equipped with two Type-C LNG cargo tanks.
The vessel features a safe and maintenance-free independent C-tank and operates on LNG BOG as fuel. All leading equipment including electric propulsion, dual-fuel generator sets, and efficient azimuth thrusters are geared up onboard the vessel. It meets the requirements of an ice-class 1B and has a complete LNG bunkering function.
CIMC SOE designed and built its first LNG bunkering vessel. Following this, several subsequent LNG bunkering vessels are also in progress as planned.
