Qingdao Beihai Shipbuilding Heavy Industry

After the successful delivery of the 180,000 DWT Bulk Carrier CS Wu Han, Qingdao Beihai Shipbuilding Heavy Industry (BSIC) continues to build two 210,000DWT bulk carriers for order from Chinese Maritime Transport (CMT).

The newbuild vessel delivery is scheduled for the third quarter of 2024, the price tag of the contract is US$ 63 million, according to the latest announcement from CMT.

The 210,000 DWT Bulk Carriers are 300 meters in length, 50 meters in width, and have a depth of 25.2 meters. The designed speed is 14 knots. It meets the requirements of the Tier III emission standard of IMO and EEDI Phase III.

The vessel performance is outstanding low fuel consumption, energy-saving compliance.

Previously, Qingdao Beihai Shipbuilding Industry received orders of two 210,000DWT bulk carriers from CMT this May. In the same year, CMT again has inked the contract for the next two 210,000DWT bulk carriers affirms BSIC has built great trust for customers by its professional shipbuilding.
