COSCO SHIPPING Energy disclosed its annual report on the evening of March 30. The company will achieve an operating income of 12.688 billion yuan in 2021, down 22.5% year-on-year; main business costs will be 11.769 billion yuan, up 1.8% year-on-year; gross profit margin will decrease by 22.0 percentage points year-on-year. The net profit attributable to shareholders of the listed company was RMB-4.975 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 309.7%; EBITDA was RMB-869 million, a year-on-year decrease of 112.4%. Basic earnings per share -1.04 yuan.

In 2021, the international oil transportation market will continue to be sluggish. COSCO SHIPPING Energy has the world’s largest tanker fleet in terms of capacity, covering the world’s mainstream tanker types, and is the world’s most complete tanker fleet. As of December 31, 2021, the Group owned and controlled a total of 166 oil tankers with a capacity of 25.24 million deadweight tons, of which 154 owned and controlled tankers with a capacity of 21.86 million deadweight tons; and leased 12 vessels with a capacity of 3.38 million deadweight tons. In addition, there are 2 ships with an order capacity of 369,000 deadweight tons. The Group’s joint ventures and associated companies have a total of 14 oil tankers with a capacity of 830,000 deadweight tons.

The Group is a leader in China’s LNG transportation business and an important participant in the world LNG transportation market. Shanghai LNG, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Group, and CLNG, which holds a 50% stake, are currently the only two large-scale LNG transportation companies in China. As of December 31, 2021, the Group has invested in a total of 47 LNG ships, all of which are project ships, with stable income. Among them, 38 LNG ships have been put into operation, with a volume of 6.42 million cubic meters; 9 LNG ships are under construction, with a volume of 1.56 million cubic meters. In recent years, as the LNG ships invested and constructed by the Group have come online one after another, the Group’s LNG transportation business has entered a stable harvest period.

中远海能3月30日晚间披露年报,公司2021年实现营业收入126.88亿元,同比下滑22.5%;主营业务成本人民币117.69亿元,同比增加1.8%;毛利率同比减少22.0个百分点。实现归属于上市公司股东净利润人民币-49.75亿元,同比减少309.7%;EBITDA 人民币-8.69亿元,同比减少112.4%。基本每股收益-1.04元。
