CSSC Guangxi received 20 LNG-powered vessels design contract

Guangxi Beibu Gulf Shipbuilding and Offshore, a subsidiary of CSSC Guangxi Shipbuilding and Offshore Engineering, has won the big design contract from Guangxi Jinxiang Shipping, a subsidiary of Hangzhou Jinjiang Group. Ten 5,000DWT LNG-powered multi-purpose cargo ships and ten 59.6m LNG-powered cement tankers will be delivered according to this contract.
CSSC Guangxi is experienced in designing cement tankers in the range of 1,000-3,000 DWT.
The ship’s information is:
- The length is 59.6 meters,
- The width is 10.8 meters,
- The speed is 18Km/h and the capacity of 2 cement tanks (about 1,400 DWT).
CSSC Guangxi has targeted building environmentally friendly vessels in recent years. It is worth reminding that, CSSC Guangxi just won an overseas project of LNG carriers design contract. Following the contract, CSSC Guangxi is in charge of designing 2 LNG carriers from Houpu Clean Energy Co., Ltd., a 3,000 m3 LNG carrier and a 1,500 m3 LNG carrier
