DSIC Shanghaiguan delivered new Post Panamax to AVIC

On June 16, built by DSIC Shanhaiguan Shipbuilding Industry delivered the first 85,000 DWT bulk carrier for AVIC International Leasing.

Target to green energy saving, lower fuel consumption, and environmental protection, the Bulk carrier is a new Post-Panamax bulk carrier designed with outstanding line shape to enhance low wind resistance on the construction meter.

The launch of the ship provides a more competitive cargo carrier for Central and South America, Africa, and Australia routes.

  • The total length of 227.2 meters, the width of 36 meters.
  • The depth of 20.35 meters, the designed draft is 11.5 meters,
  • the structural draft is 13.75 meters,
  • the deadweight is 85,000 DWT.

This vessel is the main type of DSIC Shanhaiguan Shipbuilding Industry following by 18 construction contracts on running.
