The second FSRU in the series built for giant Greek shipping Dynagas has been named and started her voyage on November 18, 2021.

The 174,000 m3 FSRU TRANSGAS FORCE was constructed in the CSSC Hudong Zhonghua shipyard. TRANSGAS FORCE is 294 meters in length and 46.95 meters in width, with a main deck depth of 26.25 meters. American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) classified the vessel.

The floating storage and a regasification unit (FSRU) is built with cutting-edge design, performs efficiently and reliably, and featured the GTT‘s Mark III Flex+ membrane containment system.

The FSRU’s design is forward-looking. In line with the concept of “green, environmental protection, low carbon, safety”, the FSRU adopts a dual-fuel generator to greatly enhance the comfort of the crew and enable the EEDI to reach the third stage of the standard ahead of time. The dual-fuel generators and dual-fuel regasification boilers meet the current IMO Tier III emission requirements.

The delivery is also the major step of CSSC Hudong Zhonghua, with five months ahead of what is set in the contract, strongly building trust with Dynagas. It had to be acknowledged that, Dynagas has just taken the first vessel TRANSGAS POWER in the series of two FSRU in early July.
