Cabin capacity, green power system has been upgraded, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) is used as the main power fuel, and shaft generators have been installed, which are obtained in terms of operating economy, reliability, and environmental friendliness.

In recent years, Jiangnan Shipbuilding has continued to deepen the liquefied gas ship market, insisted on “researching and developing around the market”, and continuously increased R&D investment. Its products have covered liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) ships, liquefied ethylene (LEG) ships, and liquefied natural gas (LNG) carriers. , Very Large Ethane Carrier (VLEC). In the domestic and foreign liquefied gas ship market, it is increasingly favored and recognized by shipowners.

In addition to research and development, Jiangnan Shipbuilding has also continued to accelerate in the construction of liquefied gas carriers and the continuous shortening of the docking cycle, making the construction speed faster and faster. In 2020, Jiangnan Shipbuilding delivered 8 VLGC ships, accounting for 57% of global deliveries.

At present, Jiangnan Shipbuilding has a number of multi-type VLGCs in the process of intensive construction/commissioning.
