NACKS nominated in Green Design for Industrial Products list

The third batch of Green Design Demonstration Enterprises for Industrial Products was held by the Chinese Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT). The parties nominated the Nantong COSCO KHI Ship Engineering Co., Ltd. (NACKS) to be on the list.

This is the first time a shipyard in China took this honor.

To achieve this major success, the evaluation of enterprise should be in a good state of business, maintaining a leading in its industrial products. In line with that, the enterprise must keep the management in good shape and other elements including environment, energy, health, and safety.

NACKS always upgraded its products, aiming at the design concept “green, energy conservation, safety, and efficiency”. The shipyard keeps improving the R&D capability for energy-saving, efficient performance, and environmentally friendly vessels.

Many giant shipping companies have entrusted NACKS to construct their vessels. It’s worth mentioning that NYK expanded its fleet with an eco-friendly VLGC from NACKS recently.
