New Times Shipbuilding delivers Seaworld’s 2nd 156,500DWT Oil Tanker1 min read
On the morning of August 25, New Times Shipbuilding held a signing and delivery ceremony for the 56#156,500-ton oil tanker “SEA CORAL”, which was successfully delivered to the Greek shipowner Seaworld for operation. So far, New Times Shipbuilding has completed and delivered 15 ships this year, totaling 2,240,500DWT.
Liu Haijin, general manager of New Times Shipbuilding, Zhang Yuyong, executive deputy general manager, and Yuan Heng, deputy general manager, attended the event. Zhang Yuyong, executive deputy general manager, signed the delivery document with the representatives of Seaworld Greece and AVIC Leasing through the form of “cloud delivery”.
The 56#156,500-ton oil tanker has a total length of 274.3 meters, a width of 48 meters, a depth of 23.2 meters, a design draft of 16 meters, a structural draft of 17.15 meters, and a deadweight of 156,500 tons. It has entered the ABS classification society. The shipowner, Seaworld Company of Greece, ordered two 156,500-ton oil tankers in New Times Shipbuilding, and all of them have been completed and delivered.
