Petrobras awarded Best Supplier to CIMC Raffles

On 21 December 2020, Petrobras announced the winners of the Petrobras Best Supplier Award for 2019. There are 21 recognized groups covering different categories of goods and services, as well as seven special ones. Yantai CIMC Raffles Offshore Co., LTD is one of the two shipyards that won the award in the Marine industry category and the only one that was shortlisted in China.

Petrobras Supplier Award is to recognize companies that have distinguished themselves by providing products and services to Petrobras, creating value, pursuing excellence, and engaging in activities that strengthen the spirit of cooperation and partnership. The announcement of the award was originally scheduled for the first quarter of 2020, but was delayed to the fourth quarter due to the epidemic.

The PETROBRAS 71 FPSO Hull project and P71 GTG Modules project are the beginning of the direct cooperation between CIMC Raffles and PETROBRAS. This award is recognition of CIMC Raffles project construction capability and its ability to serve international mainstream customers, which will further deepen the cooperation between CIMC Raffles and international mainstream customers including Petrobras.
