Shanghai COSCO SHIPPING Heavy Industry retrofit FPSO “Eagle” project steel cutting started

On May 20, the steel cutting ceremony of the “Eagle” project was held in Shanghai COSCO SHIPPING Heavy Industry. Representatives of the DNV Classification Society, members of the leadership team of Shanghai COSCO SHIPPING Heavy Industry, and members of the project team attended the commencement ceremony to witness this important moment together, marking the official entry of the FPSO Maria Quitéria retrofit project into the fast track for on-site construction.
“Eagle” is a VLCC refitted FPSO project, undertaken by Shanghai COSCO Shipping Heavy Industry, and will complete Phase I structural repair, retrofit, plumbing, electricity, ventilation, outfitting, cabin special coating, new living area, and pipe gallery, and other projects. In Phase II, the whole ship module hoisting and integration, MC work will be completed.
The total project period of the project is 24 months. This is the second time for Shanghai COSCO SHIPPING Heavy Industry and YINSON to carry out in-depth cooperation.

上海中远海运重工FPSO改装项目“雄鹰”轮割板开工
5月20日，“雄鹰”轮项目割板开工仪式在上海中远海运重工举行。DNV船级社代表、上海中远海运重工领导班子成员及项目组成员出席开工仪式，共同见证这一重要时刻，标志着FPSO Maria Quitéria改装项目正式进入现场建造快车道。
“雄鹰”轮是VLCC改装FPSO项目，由上海中远海运重工承接，将完成Phase I 阶段结构修理、改装，管、电、通风、舾装、舱室特涂、新制生活区及管廊等工程，在Phase II阶段将完成整船模块吊装及集成、MC工作。
该项目工程计划总周期24个月，这是上海中远海运重工与YINSON公司再次携手开展深入合作。
