Wisdom Marine expands its fleet by adding other four Bulk Carriers

According to Taiwanese giant dry bulker owner, Wisdom Marine has placed orders for four dry bulk carriers construction worth $116 million. 

On 23 July 2021, Wisdom Marine signed a construction order for two 39,560 DWT bulk carriers. This order is worth $58 million. 

In addition, the next purchase of two 40,000 DWT bulk carriers was confirmed on the same day.

The move comes after the bulk owner announced the order of three 82,400 DWT bulk carriers at China’s Tsuneishi Shipbuilding.

Last year, the shipping company embarked upon a cash-raising mission with an aim to collect $63.8 million. Wisdom said it would use the funds for planned ship acquisitions.

Wisdom Marine Group is the largest dry bulk shipowner in Taiwan by a number of vessels. Wisdom Marine has a fleet of 148 vessels, 12 of which are newbuilds as of September 30th, 2020.

Wisdom Marine was founded in March 1999. Wisdom Marine employs more than 2600 seafarers and more than 150 shore staff to handle all aspects of commercial and technical management for our fleet.
